NICE BEACHES NEAR ATHENS.



     In Attica there are many beaches where they can take refuge and enjoy the Athenians and tourists swimming in the summer months. These beaches are mostly sandy and others with pebbles. The water is clean and many areas have been certified by the E.U.
Vouliagmeni: Located about 15 km from the city center. It's a beautiful beach. It has a bar, restaurant, cafe, facilities spor. 
Aghia Marina : Located in Porto Rafti, 30 km from Athens.  It is not organized, but in the area there are restaurants and taverns.
Agios Kosmas Beach: This is a well-known sandy beach, close enough to the center. It is organized with sun beds, umbrellas and other services. Guests are served to travel by tram.
Beach Agios Nikolaos Artemis: In Loutsa, about 32 miles from downtown is the beautiful beach of Agios Nikolaos. It is not particularly organized, but there is a bar and guests can rent surfboards . 

Aghii Apostoli: Located in Oropos. Is pebbled and has clear water. Is organized. Accessed by bus.
Alimos Beach: This is the nearest beach (8 km) to the center of the capital. Located along the coastal road and is organized. 
Anavyssos Beach: The beach Anavissos in front of the Hotel Eden is organized and offers many services.

PETALII ISLETS



The beautiful cluster of islands "Petalii" (near Evia island ) consists of ten large and small islands ,rich in vegetation. Nature here was certainly generous . Located a short distance from Athens,Petalii  are smothered in green.

ASTYPALEA . THE BUTTERFLY OF AEGEAN

Astipalaia. Everyone will find something special to love.

DOLPHINS IN GREECE



     About 150 dolphins hosts Amvrakikos Gulf(Western Greece), according to an article in the magazine "New Scientist». This is one of the healthiest populations of bottlenose dolphins in the Mediterranean as it remains stable. "Rich" in dolphins is the Corinthian Gulf.(southern Greece) .

In the waters shelter four species of dolphins found in Greece , which very often come in mixed flocks, which is a rare phenomenon. Indeed, Greenpeace and ACCOVAMS (International Agreement for the protection of cetaceans in the Mediterranean) have suggested setting the Corinthian Gulf as a standard marine reserve for Greece and the Mediterranean.
The Greek seas are considered as the most "rich" biodiversity in the seas of Europe, but also worldwide, because they host some of the largest remaining populations of marine mammals in the Mediterranean.
