Ancient Greeks beleived that Delphi (Central Greece) was the center of the world .That's why they created there the most famous oracle and then a whole sacred city .
According to Mythologie the oracle was dedicated to the primοrdial deity "Gaia"-Earth and when Apollo killed her son ,a huge snake called Python ,Delphi became his own worship's temple.It'is believed that the word "Delphi" comes form the Greek word "Delphini",meaning dolphin,the beloved animal of Apollo,which led him to the area .
During many centuries the city had been particularly reach thanks to the presents of ancient Greeks,Roman and barbarian leaders over successful oracles .
Every year thousand of Metaphysical theory fans visit the region.
